Spring Arts, Crafts & Music Festival

Downtown Blairsville May 27th & 28th Sponsored by the Union County Historical Society & the Blairsville Downtown Developement Authority; the two-day festival begins Saturday, May 27th and ends Sunday, May 28th. Hours are from 10am - 5pm both days, rain or shine.

Mountain Heritage Festival

September 2nd & 3rd, 2017 The Heritage Festival celebrates the history and mountain culture of Union County, GA on the grounds of the Historic Mountain Life Museum around the 1906 Butt-Mock home. There will be music on the porch, arts & crafts vendors, food vendors, as well as demonstrations of skills used by Union County's earliest settlers.

Friday Night Concerts

Every Friday Night from the first Friday of May through the end of October, no admission fee is charged for these concerts.

7:00 p.m. at the Historic Union County Court House on the square in Blairsville, Georgia

Maximum seating is 200, Please come early to help secure seating. We now have an elevator and a special section for wheelchairs.

Guest Speaker Duncan Dobie

July 11th, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the courtroom of the Old Courthouse Museum

Duncan Dobie, a full-time outdoor writer for 30 years, will be speaking about his new book "Arthur Woody and the Legend of the Barefoot Ranger". During his high school years Mr. Dobie frequently went hunting and fishing in the North GA. mountains. Here he began to discover colorful stories of legends about Ranger Arthur Woody. His new book is the result of a lifelong quest to share Ranger Woody's remarkable story.

Once a year - Memorial Day through Independence Day in the Old Courthouse.

Please come and view our exhibits during this time of rememberance.
