Marketplace Heritage Festival

this community event will be held Saturday -
Sunday, August 30 & 31, Labor Day weekend, 2008
10 a.m. to 5 p.m , at the Mountain Life Museum just one
block south of the Historic Court House on the square. The
Labor Day weekend event is kindly underwritten by United
Community Bank to honor its home county.

2008 calendars feature veterans of the Korean
War.
The 2008
Historical Society calendar extends the past into the
future. These nostalgic calendars feature historic
photographs of people and places that have figured
prominently in Union County history. The 2008 calendars and
Christmas ornaments are useful and thoughtful gifts, as are
our bundles of seventeen historic calendars (1990-2006) for
only $25. All prices plus tax and postage.

Kings 5 & 10 on the square,
Chevron Station on the square
Suches General Store (Dale's) in Suches.
