Today Blairsville is served by the modern four lane GA 515 from Atlanta, U.S. 76 and U.S. 19/129 highways. Blairsville is also served by an airport with a 5,000 ft. runway. However, today's modern times does not mean that Union County has lost its scenic beauty and friendly people. Union County is still the ultimate spot to escape to the mountains just as people did in the 1920s.
